Hawick Pump Track
In 2019, Alan Jones completed a Feasibility Study for Hawick Community Pump Track, supporting the local vision of repurposing former tennis courts to provide a free to use community wheeled sports facility.
Following the Feasibility work, we secured funding of £399,000 and project managed the build to completion. This engagement included managing the full tendering process, engaging the local authority, and undertaking the full planning application (including all required technical surveys). Alan Jones then supervised the delivery of this project, with Architrail Velosolutions the preferred bidder. The pictures show the quality and scale of the final project, which is now cited as one of the best Wheeled Sports Parks in the South of Scotland.
