Ardersier Play Park
Please Love Ardersier Youth (P.L.A.Y.) was set up as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) in 2012 with the aim of improving the play facilities for the young people of the village and surrounding areas.
This project was funded by the Big Lottery’s Community Spaces Scotland Programme and the Ward Discretionary budget. Ardersier P.L.A.Y. have articulated a vision to develop a new, innovative play area for children up to the age of 16 in Ardersier and the immediate surrounding areas.
Alan Jones was appointed project manager to assist with the setting up of the lease, arranging ongoing maintenance agreement with the Council, completeing the Feasibility Study and project managing the project to completion. Alan secured £221, 000 for the project.
