The Ardersier War Memorial Hall Association aims to redevelop and expand a community owned asset in order to meet local need for a sustainable community space and improve more inclusive access to services. As well as upgrading the existing hall, new spaces will be created for a cafe, youth club room, games room and library/service point. It is also hoped the old projection room can be brought back into use.

Alan Jones Associates prepared the first feasibility study and business plan which included village-wide consultation and community engagement. An architect and Quantity Surveyor were appointed on the phase 1 designs were drawn up and approved. Following on from this, Alan secured funding from Highland LEADER, Climate Challenge Fund, and BIFFA Awards to augment the hall’s existing funds in putting together a £320,000 package for phase 1. Phase 1 has now been completed, and the hall committee are considering moving towards phase 2.
